Congratulations Springchickens! I know you are thrilled.. And how neat, that our kids will share a birthday?!?!!


Carly Sharlene arrived this morning at 11:30.... Sort of funny how it worked out. After being here all night, I finally dilated to 10cm this morning at 11:00.. MY DH asked how long it should take and the nurse told him anywhere from between 1 to 3 hours usually... So I start pushing at 11 and around 11:27 the OB finally walked in and was taking her sweet time getting dressed since I was a first timer and it should take a while, she THOUGHT! As I watched her slowly get dressed, I finally gave up and yelled at her and told her she had better hurry up! She turned to look at me and saw why! She jerked her scrubs on, turned around and caught her.

I will get pics tomorrow hopefully. As soon as the parade that is my room clears out this evening, I am going to try to get some sleep!!

With all the hubbub today, thought I'd share that I hit 30wk today (just like my EDD partner MK). Woop woop! Can't believe it's 3/4 done. It sure has been an exciting ride so far! We toured and registered at the hospital yesterday- I have to say that I'm pretty impressed with the birthing suites (and hope I don't have to be there that long

).

We also had an appt yesterday am with our OB- gained more weight but, if you remember, I was back home visiting families who insisted I MUST eat. Ugh! Anyway, she seems to think that there's no way our boy's coming early...

So I guess that means I'll be in the same boat as our fellow ladies-in-waiting.
