EVERYBODY!!!!! I'm freaking out here!!!! I think my water just broke!!!! I'm leaking fluid that does not stop when I use my pelvic muscles to try to hold it in. I've soaked 2 pairs of PJ bottoms and I'm having to just sit on a towel. Is it safe to wait until the OB's office opens this morning to go or sound I call the emergency number? No bleeding, no contractions (that I can tell).

Sounds like your water broke -- there is nooo holding it in! My water has broke both times at home. I have always called the on-call number to notify my midwife I was on my way to labor & delivery. I usually need a little help to get my contractions going after my water breaks -- they strip my membranes and that works. Some are given pitocin. Hope you are already in your hospital room! I have the same issue. However, my eyes are bigger than my stomach most of the time. I want to eat more than my stomach can hold at this point, so it feels like I'm eating all the time. (Grazing?)

My real hunger only lasts for those two months -- where I feel like I am always really, truly hungry. From then on, I am basically happily grazing on what sounds good (cravings). Thanksgiving/Christmas here I come!

I am not a big gainer during pregnancy. We'll see if it's different this time since I'll be pregnant through the Thanksgiving and Christmas eating season. Hope I can enjoy all that yummy food without a big gain!

Best of luck GFF! You are the first of the Nov due dates! SOOOO exciting!!!!

I haven't been on here in forever! We have been so busy trying to finnish the nursery renovation which is almost done. I will have to get some pics soon. We also just put all of the spindles on our deck, stained the deck, and now have to fence in the yard for the dogs and put up gates. It will be so much easier when the baby is here to just let the dogs out and not have to watch them.

I had my shower on the 24th and it was good. Small and got cute stuff, but not the bigger items, so last week I bought the stroller/car seat combo set, and the pack n play (which we will use in our room as a bassinet). I set up the stroller, but still have to install the car seat, and set up the pack n play. My parents are coming this weekend to visit from NY so maybe I will let my dad set it up...he would like that

I am also officially on maternity leave as of yesterday! I work an hour and 15 mins away on a good day, so the OBGYN said no more traveling that far anymore. So now there is really no excuse to not get everything done!

Hope everyone else is doing well...I am off to read the pages I missed!

WHAT????!!!! GFF is in labor???? I walk away from the computer for 2 seconds and next thing ya know.....

GFF- I wish you a safe and speedy delivery and a happy, healthy baby! I didnt know she was close to delivery time?? I thought she was a November due date??
Im not on her FB, so if anyone hears anything before she posts here, let us know!



I go to the Dr today for my 41 week check up (yup, still pregnant ) and to do a NST (non-stress test) for baby. No signs yet of labor- just trying to take it easy. Baby is still active and seems happy in there, so Im not worried about anything. I never for a second thought I would still be waiting at this point! Its weird, I feel so good still- seems like everyone else in our lives is more impatient for this baby to be born than me!!

I think its because I know this is my last baby and Im trying to remember every feeling and kick and just enjoy every last second.
