1) Breed of hen that layed egg - White Leghorn named Chickabod
2) Age (or approx. age) of hen at the time the egg was laid - 14 months
3) How often these types of eggs are laid by this particular hen (i.e., sometimes they lay speckled, sometimes solid - give as many particulars as you know) - First time I got a speckled egg from her! They are always solid white.
4) Size of egg (peewee, small, medium, large, XL, Jumbo?) - Large

Not nearly as speckled as the other pics, but I thought it was cool because this was the first speckled egg she has laid and I've never seen a white speckled egg before!

Omigosh, I have another entry!!!

This was laid by Mabel, a 6 month old EE. This is her second egg ever. Her first egg was a solid olive color, no speckles. It's fairly small, as it's a pullet egg.

(edited to change her age- she's actually 6 months old, not 5. oops)

wow! they come out everyday, so we will always have to be amending our entries. I want an Olive egg-er badly. Olive is my favorite color.
