Ugh, not here on a happy note today...I just noticed my best girl has some sorry of injury/infection in one of her eyes, I don't believe it's fowl pox because no one else has any sores or symptoms. She's very social & was acting normal earlier today, but I knew as soon as I came out just now that she was not herself. She's usually the first to come running for treats & she was just off in the corner & sure enough...🥺🥺 her crop is also almost empty which is highly unusual. So my question is, what's the best course of action? Do I need to pick up some terramycin, vetricyn, antibiotics? Can I use bactricin, there's no pain reliever in it? Including a picture just in case anyone thinks it may actually be fowl pox or has any other ideas...

She may have suffered an injury to the eye.

General care is to gently open the eye, rinse with saline, remove any pus or debris, then apply an ointment in the eye like Terramcyin.
I think she may have scratched it herself, but I can't actually see the injury. I'll pick up some terramycin in the morning, cleaned it up for the night & she's currently sleeping in bed with us 🤣🤣🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

I haven't gotten meds yet, my friend is bringing me terramycin in a bit & I will flush her eye. It's so much worse today & I feel so bad for her 😭😭 she has puss coming out of her nose now, which I know is common, I just feel so sorry for her 💔💔
