We are having a rough go over here. I’m 99.9% certain my flock of 10 has fowlpox. It’s been about a week and a half. Letting it run its course. I noticed today that my salmon faverolle has a foamy and swollen eye and it seems she has either a pock or a pecking injury on the corner of her eye. She’s low if not lowest in the pecking order. Can triple antibiotic be applied here? Open to advice for the eye as well as the fowl pox. Thanks friends. 🤍

That eye looks sore and painful. If you have lubricating eye drops for human use, use that in the eyes to rinse and soothe. Then run a small amount of the antibiotic ointment around the edge of the eye twice a day. Or you can buy the Terramycin eye antibiotic at most feed stores.

You can also make your own saline eye flush solution. Recipes are on the internet.
