Eye infection????

I think when you rinse the eye, the feathers may be wet enough to see the ear - just watch for swelling around there. I would try some cream after the rinse for a couple of days and see if that seems to accelerate healing.

Alrighty! Thanks!

I would be putting antibiotic cream (not ointment) behind and under the eye - is her ear involved at all?
Yes I think she needs something more now, see if you can find the Terramycin eye ointment that will be an antibiotic are the feathers missing under the eye too? and is it draining?
Rinse the eye well with either Veterrycin or saline. then of an evening so she doesn't wash it off put the ointment around the eye and inside too. You don't want to to lose her sight. or worse this if infection spread.

Yeah there's some feathers missing. There's nothing oozing. When I gentley dab around the eye with a soft cloth and warm water before treating it's clean there's no traces of junk etc on my cloth. It's just all thick scabbing I guess you could say. Yeah definitely going to put cream on at night.

I'd just keep on doing what your doing keeping it clean as possible treating at night with ointment. as long as there isn't puss or drainage then most likely not infected. The drake hasn't been messing with her anymore? It looks pretty nasty but it's hard to tell on a pic what it really looks like.

It does really look that bad, just like the pic. But imo it looks worse than what it really is. Nope haven't seen him mess with her at all. I hope it does clear up quick, it's crazy when they see me coming now lol cause they know I'm going to catch her which can be hard they are strong birds!!! Plus I have 3 other all white ducks, her sister and the 2 drakes all about the same size so sometimes it's a guessing game unless I can see her eye! Craziness!!!! I just coated around her eye with Antibiotic Ointment really good and put them up for the night! Hopefully this will make it look at least somewhat better soon.

I hope so too.

Here's a yest vs today pic! I know it doesn't look like much improvement but there is!!! It's not as dark as it was yest and not as red! FINALLY something is starting to work! The skin is softening up too.
