Same with Gold-laced. I have a Chocolate Gold-laced cockerel, and he's very fertile but a huge prick. I'll be finding him somewhere to live as soon as I can find another normal male.
I'm not really a fan of functional plants. Things that grow vegetables are hideous, especially in the Texas heat. I'd much rather just have pretty flowers and shrubs. And that's if I can get over the fact that I'll think there are snakes lurking inside all the flower beds. #notafanofnoperopes
This. Normal Silver and Gold-lacing looks lovely. Lavender and Isabel also look nice. BBS looks good on both. Chocolate looks like they are dirty/grungy. The Chocolate Gold-laced Cockerel doesn't look Chocolate or Gold. He's like a weird brown-ish red color. The Chocolate SL are even weirder because, at a quick glance, you can tell they aren't black, but they almost look blue? Except they aren't. Blech.

He doesn't bother me, at least not really. But he's hateful to everyone else. I've never had an English Orpington male act like that. I used to have one that was weird about mud boots, but he never actually got after you. He'd just run up and stare at them. lol But he usually gets hosed if my roommate is out helping me feed and water or they get fed and watered after dark.

The Isabel Lavender-laced is lovely, though. And he's been breeding his Gold-laced/Isabel Lavender-laced girlfriend, and they have fertile eggs in the incubator.
