Not until we can get them a pen of their own. I have a lot of pens (and coops!) to build...They're purty though! When will their pure breeding begin?

*grumbles about the weather* More snow. Just barely more than a dusting but... THAT'S NOT WHAT MATTERS!!! Go away Winter!!!
Found out in another thread that the hatchery I'd been telling people carried certain rare breeds is in fact not very well regarded... Now I'm glad I didn't order chicks or eggs from them!
Had 'fun' this morning gathering eggs from a half-buried nest box. Had to lay down in the much to reach in to the back and pull them out. I didn't think they were going in there! It got buried over the winter as I added bedding on top of the older stuff. Glad I did laundry yesterday!
These were fresh eggs, thankfully. I may even try to hatch them out, lol!Hopefully no eggs cracked during the winter, causing them to go all smelly!

Nah, I have no idea on the viability of these eggs. Wouldn't want to get peoples' hopes up!Do I smell a hatchalong thread? "Underground eggs Hatchalong"![]()

That, and I'm actually not one to do hatchalongs with my own eggs.
