Wow, that's rough! You're doing this all by yourself?
Most of the snow missed us but now we have 20mph winds.

Yeah, I'm alone here right now. My daughter's job keeps her away most of the time.

Wish it was just wind, but it's both. So not only the accumulation, but all the drifts too!

I can't feel my face.

Everything has been dug out. Duck pen is now much smaller as I didn't have anywhere to put the snow.

Last thing to do is the driveway. I do not want to. It is going to do me in.

Put 14 more eggs in the incubator. Also need to trim the Brahma's butts.

Apart from sore hands and arms, yeah. Still need to finish the shovelling, the pile that the plow left at the base of the driveway, but I haven't gotten myself psyched up to it yet. So sick and tired of winter!!!

Down to 10 eggs from the first batch, which should hatch in 9 days.

Checked the second batch and it looks like 2 aren't developing. I was happily surprised to see that the one Red Pyle OEGB is viable though!

Trying to decide if I want to keep the Lemon Blue OEGB. By that, I mean ALL of them. I'm definitely selling the cockerels from the December hatch. Had to separate one of them yesterday as he was picking on another very aggressively. This is the same precocious one from that set of pictures a while back.

I'm thinking I'm also going to sell the Mini Rex rabbits.

So, it has come to this... My daughter didn't tell me that she hasn't paid the mortgage in months and we are being evicted. I'm selling all my birds and some of the rabbits.
