Famous Hatchery 'Pure Bred' Appearances

I was going to ask if Jase stands for Jason in case you actually post an ID with confidential info blacked out but decided to see if you posted in your profile, then I saw a convo between you and Black Hackle (I know, I’m a stalker:plbb) did he enable you into taking an interest chickens? If so, kudos to him. Wish I could get my in-laws into chickens. It’s almost frustrating seeing their chickenless acreage lol

@bantamsrmyfav you are right. Jase stands for Jason lol
yes he did enable me into an interest in chickens. before I used to be all out ducks
This reminds me of when I was in the 4th grade and a classmate and I were standing in line, some of the kids watched us get into an argument about whether chicks or ducklings are better. I was arguing that ducklings are way cooler because I had a pekin duckling and what did she know, having no pets. That was before I realized not all chickens look exactly like Chicken Little. Some actually are puffy headed.:lau

I like muscovys too. The only things I didn’t like were the drakes trying to breed my chickens and the one hen ate chicks I let her hatch and their own eggs never hatched. Then we had to rehome them because the neighbor called animal control because they flew in their yard then we got scratched trying to clip their wings because my mom didn’t want to pen them up. We liked how quiet they were though and their waddles.

Photographic evidence.

It's weird that Orpingtons in the US are closer to what Cook wanted than where they were created.

The SOP calls for the same amount of fluff as a Buckeye, because it says "moderately full" on both, except on the Orpingtons it indicates you should see the profile of the hocks.

The pictures can always be better however... would you look at that?
