Famous Hatchery 'Pure Bred' Appearances

Pics
I just had the first of my Dark Cornish butchered a few weeks ago. The guy who did it, didn't do a great job, but you can see how nice of a carcass I got. This one was 6-7 months.

Even the younger ones (3-4 months old)just looked like a smaller version of this bird. Just as plump and juicy looking.

I was referring to hatcheries outsourcing their eggs. I’m sure they do especially if they offer multiple breeds. They can get them anywhere probly cheaper from folks who are not legally set up to wholesale to hatcheries. They skirt around any thing that detracts from their bottom line. It’s all about profit not ethics’s. They do it with puppies, kittens, birds you name it.

The reason we (at Townline Hatchery) only carry 16 laying breeds is that we do not outsource our eggs. We are unique in that we care for our own breeder flock, and we always have. I cannot speak for other hatcheries, but that is how we operate :)
