Famous Hatchery 'Pure Bred' Appearances

I had a Cackle Aseel. His tail was short but I thought he was otherwise typey. But no, he was not bred for aggression. He beat the other roos and let them alone after they knew who was boss. And he had a great personality with people- I love a bird you can just walk up to and pick up because he isn’t afraid. At. All.
But I had to get rid of his brother because neither one would yield the victory.

I’m grateful to the hatcheries because I’m in Hawaii and nobody but the commercial hatcheries and a couple rare “boutique” hatcheries will ship here. So I have no choice but to use hatchery birds for breeding projects.

Oh, I know. When I woke up this morning I was excited thinking I’d have 4 or 5 pages to read this morning while we traveled, but NO!
