Today she’s looking not frizzled at all, guess we’ll have to try again next year!

Some are more extreme then others.
So if I breed my partial frizzle rooster to my non-frizzle hens, could some of the babies be full frizzle, or would they only be as frizzled as my rooster (if they're frizzled at all)? I know they only have a 50% chance of being frizzled, but will they look like my rooster, or could their feathers be more frizzled?

I didn’t either! I was sure she was a Cochin until she laid an egg 😆 I wrote the breeder and she’s like, “Yay! I’ve been working on that for awhile and hadn’t gotten a Marans frizzle yet!” Super fun and she’s really sweet.
Oh, I see. So she's from a breeder that was specifically working on frizzled Marans? That means that you can't get a frizzled Marans anywhere else. Your bird is special!
