(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? Bought my babies about a month age. First time chicken mom.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I have 12
(3) What breeds do you have?
6 Leghorn and 6 Blue Australorp
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? I just love sitting and watching them.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Too many to count, paint, quilt, fiber art anything crafty.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. Come from a very close family, I’m the youngest of 7. Married 36 years 2 children 3 grandchildren. Both of us retired and moved to 5 acres in the mountains. Also a new bunny owner 1/2 angora 1/2 Flemish named Gary.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I was looking for information about what to and what not to feed my animals. Just found you yesterday.
