Polly! Good to finally see you! I am the person that you came and got hatching eggs from, in Livermore! I have been trying to look you up on here, but I spelled your username wrong, and that's why I couldn't find you! Glad to hear that you are coming... Did you have a good hatch out of those eggs?


Hatched 16 out of 24. After everything that happened to the eggs during the incubation I was very pleased. I set a total of 48 eggs, (got 24 from NY) hatched a total of 34. I have more in lockdown now, plus another bator full due to hatch next weekend, and eggs arriving from swaps I am doing plus eggs I have bought so will fill another incubator.

these produce birds that lay olive colored eggs.

I hope to be home in time for this meet, just to check out the Maine Chicken activity , pick up some predator-preventing pointers, meet some like minded chicken fanciers and hopefully make a few friends and contacts...hmmmn...is chicken raising a contact sport?

I have 7 dwarfs... (silkie babies) and would like to keep them safe and secure from all chicken killers... I've lost too many to raccoons already. I won't have any to sell/swap until I know if I have hens or roos... I missed my 2 day window of opportunity already. Now I'll be patiently waiting for that first egg drop, hoping for 6 more. Let's see if my eggspert can count feathers correctly.

I am desperately looking for some chicks THIS WEEKEND. I hatched, but only got two and then one died. The other one is very depressed and I need to get it some friends RIGHT away. I am going to PM you so that you get this sooner. I would be willing to pay whatever you charge since you are so close. I just really need to save this chick. I hope that we can work something out!

I may be bringing some male New Zealand rabbits to sell. I am not sure if i can get down there on the 12th but hope to. I have some adults and babies. I may be looking for some geese to buy, anyone bringing geese?
