sorry that was late last night my dog attached my chickens well i was gone he killed 2 and injured 2 one is alright the other has a cut and its feet froze last night so i am warming him

I wish there was a season on hawks, I usually have one attempt a year.
starting last sunday there have been 3 attempts. Last sunday and today no one got hurt. Todays attempt the dog was on the outside of the north side of the poultry yard... the hawk was on the south, out of the old dog's sight.
The tuesday attempt she looked dead but recovered overnight.

Poultry yard is too big and has trees to put a top on

I also have a dog..he helps but this year he is slowing down... He keeps napping and the hawk takes advantage of this
