Feather pecking question.

My 2 Easter Egger hens have had their beards and cheek puffs pecked totally off by the other hens. The birds are all about six months old and there are other "pecking order" injuries in the flock ( just little scabs on combs, nothing crazy) but I was wondering if I need to step in and try to stop this behavior or if it's normal?
