February Hatch-A-Long

I generally will wait 2 days after "due date" on eggs but that's chicken or duck. I believe you were hatching quail. In that case probably a day and a half.

To keep everyone happy though, I put some sweet grass in the brooder with the babies. They immediately began scratching and then promptly fell asleep in it.

Day three you might be able to see some veining, but it might not be definite until day 7.

Oh day 3? will that work for brown eggs? I am tempted.... but i'll wait. Its nice just getting to see them in the incubator. I didn't think just having them in, would make me so happy
