@LadiesAndJane did you double check your tiny didn’t have slipped tendons too? Sometimes that’ll make them walk on the edges of their feet and rotate their legs out. I had a chick last year with slipped tendons and splay leg at hatch. That one was fun. Not.

your little one is so cute though! great job on those shoes! They’re hard to do, especially on your own with a wiggly little fluffball.

And she is so tiny on top of that! Thank you so much for your feedback. I don’t think she has slipped tendons or is splayed. I think that the shoes I made for her we’re just too long. Here’s a photo of her this morning she seems to be walking fine. I’m going to take them off this afternoon and see how they look.

I am in lockdown with my Swedish Flower/Buff Orpington eggs, due to hatch on Tuesday. I have 14 left; didn't see a lot of movement at my day 18 candle but they all had veining so we'll see what happens. I suspect my incubator has some cold spots, maybe next time I will try and move the eggs around more. Only a few more days to wait!

Short video of the little one walking now. Let me know what you think, guys. I took the shoes off after she fell in the water and couldn’t get out. Luckily it was very shallow and full of marbles so no drowning here!
She is a little unsteady and seems to be walking a little forward on her toes but I’m assuming this will improve with time.
