Federal and American Eagle 45 Auto ammo recall

Plus it takes 2 hands to clear a jammed auto an I'm disabled so that don't work.

Yeah, I wouldn't put anything but an AK or an SKS through that and expect them to work. Gotta respect those Russian designers. Leaders? NO. Designers yes.

This is entirely based on a "test" in which sand was dumped onto an AK-74 with the safety opened. Well, duh, of course that would be problematic.

Only a half-wit would be walking around with the safety off - in sand, no less! That's the practical equivalent of dumping sand straight into the open firing chamber of an AR. So, I just searched "mud test" for both rifles. Found plenty of AK mud tests, with all firing perfectly, but NOBODY had posted an AR mud test. I doubt anyone had the guts.

My plan is to buy a Zastava M70B1. I've heard nothing but good things about those AKs.

That was a normal Sunday. Not stuck but I sucked up some water in to the distributor while waiting on some other people to move out of the way. It wouldn't take throttle to climb out the far side. Climbed up on to to keep my feet dry.

you gotta have moon clips with them like folks use for speed loading but kinda different if you know what i mean...used to do some match shooting....wasn't real good but had lots of fun!

We have the water lol. I submarined a jeep once an made it out the other side before the jeep died. Another time I had to swim out..


Ill stick with shouldered rounds.

I respect your right to be wrong about semi autos

Truthfully, I tell my wife if something goes bump in the night when I'm not here to grab the model 19 and pull the trigger till it stops going boom.
Maybe I'll show her the speedloader next
