Feed advice pls

Hey so i got 32 week pullets and 8 week chicks im planning to intergrate. Obv the younger lot are on growers feed and the older lot on layers feed and grit. I realise u cannot let chicks have layers yet due to high levels of calcium and low levels of protein so im un sure if to put layer and grower in different feeders hope young ones dont eat it or give them both growers til chicks at POL and supply additional calcium to pullets if that makes sense?

Yes, a grower with added calcium on the side that the older hens can eat. Some people just provide an “all-flock” feed, with added calcium on the side. Depends on what is available to you in your area.

I've never fed anything but Flock Raiser with Oyster Shell in separate container for the active layers.

I just feed a Non-Medicated Starter-Grower 18% or an All-Flock Crumble 20% after 10 weeks old throughout Adulthood with a container of Oyster Shells.
As long as you have a container of Poultry Grit available the Pullets won't substitute Shells for Grit.

You can switch back to a Layers feed when Pullets start laying.
My pullets started to lay two weeks ago. Still waiting on two late bloomers.
