I have a question I have a mostly blind chicken, we know she can see to a degree but we're not sure what but we're approaching the two-year birthday this coming end of September. She functions just fine until recently wandering about with her two sisters in our decent sized backyard. Which means I think we're going to have moulting soon, but even my dad has noticed that Owl has been losing weight recently. She is also just sitting around in the yard too, but we think that has to do with a leg issue that happened as a chick.
She'll be going in for a check up simply because we're worried about her health in general. But is there anything you would do to help her get those extra calories she needs? I will note her laying hasn't been affected at all and she has a nice red comb.
