Here on the coast of WA, it is clam season. My DH and his friends went this morning and all got their limits. When they came home my laying chickens got a hold of some clams and tore them apart within seconds! Now, though it was funny, can chickens eat clams? And since we can give our chickens oyster and egg shells, what about clam shells???

I don't see why not, it's still a source of calcium in the shells and the meat itself should be safe for the chickens, granted it wasn't harvested in polluted waters.
