I rather doubt your males need the calcium. And in the US, White Leghorns are an actual breed, not a hybrid.

White leghorns are everywhere what they are in US.
Hahaha. Hy-line, Hisex, Babcock are all american companies, which sell hybridized white leghorns.

All of my stock originated from reputable breeders and in some cases poultry judges. I don't mix my lines and if I need new blood I get the birds from the breeder and usually make arrangements to pick the birds up at a show. One male SCWL I got from a breeder when he was very young, got reserve champion at the last show.

This is interesting-

Personally, I would split Group B into B1 and B2 though this may not be possible for you.
I would give B1 no Calcium, but treats 4-5 times a week.
Then I would give B2 Calcium but treats 0-2 times a week.

I and very interested in this experiment. Please give us progress reports. In the past I did do experimental breeding. It was fun. I worked mostly with Red Sex-Links and some Black Sex-Links Both Single comb and Rose Comb and succeeding generations.
