Fence height

If there's a likely time for those birds to visit your yard, could you keep your dogs in then? At least until you can fix netting, or clip visiting bird's wings, or something. Will the neighbor notice if there wings are clipped, and bring more trouble down on you? I'd be careful about this.
My dogs would do the same thing, and I keep my birds out of their space.

Please make note of where I live. The next English speaking lawyer probably lives 2 hours drive away and will be a crook
lol.. "Noted" David.. IDK what to tell you.. It's as crazy there as in Old San Juan (La Perla) in Puerto Rico, I was there last year.. Better do your best to avoid a confrontation David.. Pls do keep us posted..

I’m sure you have but have you talked with your neighbor about the situation and maybe you guys can work together to add something to the fence or have them agree to wing clipping. I don’t know that I would just clip another chickens wings... might cause more problems with neighbor. If neighbor is being completely unreasonable then look into laws again. Many places also have laws and fines for “animals at large” Tell them the chickens are causing you dogs emotional distress. Lol. Jk about last part but maybe electric line would be easier option and maybe cheaper depending what material “ Wall” is made of

Thanks for all the (interesting) replies to my question, 'Fence height'.
Two more chickens got killed since my first post, I just finished eating the last one.
Anyway, we did manage to negotiate after being dissuaded by my wife from spending money on a fence.
Result: it flies over the fence, we eat it. It took some Thai whisky and some beer to get that, as well as diplomacy.

Whiskey and beer? A great (relatively) cheap fix. Next time it happens, invite them over for a barbecue ... BYOB! :D
