Fermented Feeds

I have tried the FF three different times and my girls just won't eat it. They have been used to free ranging and foraging all their lives and have never eaten much chicken feed - they are almost 2 years old. I do put out a fair amount of mixed grains for them and they get fresh greens of some sort daily. As I said, I have made three batches and tried to feed it to them numerous times and wound up throwing it out. It seems to be fairly simple and I don't think I did anything wrong? Any help/suggestions?
It seems to me if they are foraging themselves, that is ideal!

Are you leaving all their other feeds in there with them?
I found my birds, when given a choice, would eat the dry feed first.

ok guys i have cant kept ff in my house so i have been mixing a little acv and water to my food right before i feed and i think i may only do regular ff during the cooler months so i can keep it outside

I got me some boss today to start my ff. I think I will start it tomorrow and see how it goes. It's mega hot here right now so it might get fermented in just a few hours! LOL Poor chicks, I've been freezing gallon jugs of water for them to put in their water to help them cool off. They on the roost with their little beaks opened up panting away. I rigged up a fan for them out there and have it on now. Its 80 something here tonight but feels even hotter than that.

New to FF, just got some Braggs ACV today - for all experienced with it - what would be the ratio for ingredients for 6 chicks (13 days old) and using crumbles. Any help is greatly appreciated!!
