How do you do your kombucha? You think one of these from vinegar would work with tea?
No, I ordered mine from GetKombucha. Well worth it. I put the scoby and few oz of kombucha they send in with sweetened tea made with 4-6 teabags (I mix black and green) and 1 cup cane sugar and 3/4 gallon filtered water. If you live around clorine just run your water the night before and let sit out to evaporate out. When completely cool put scoby and liquid in and cover with tower or several layers of gauze clothe. Secure with a rubber band or fruit flies will get in and lay eggs. I bought one of those 2 gallon jugs with spicket and make about once a week. It'll take a little longer the first time but after that about 2 days. When it's done you can pour it off into bottles I use plastic and add flavorings and honey , I love peach slices. Close tight and leave on counter overnight and in the morning, burp it a little. It will have bubbles like a soft drink. Fridge for several hours. Goood.
