Intensive work begins today (5-3-08). I will post picks as the work comes along. Hubys tilling the garden right now. So you know what to look for, we are going to work on.........

--getting the run up
--getting the exit door for the chicks established
--getting finished with the siding (which looks great)
--getting the tin roof on
--putting vinyl on the front
--sectioning off the coop inside for the smaller birds
--and anything else we can think of

I'll post with ya later.

O.K. Today started with hubby working in the garden. Today you can see a difference in the vegetables............Can't wait till harvest time!!!

Then we worked on the coop. Here is what we got done. Doesn't seem like much but we worked in wind gust up to 26 MPH today.

1st we started by putting on the tin roof supports.

We were not going to attempt to attach the tin roofing with the high winds we had today.

Then we started by fixing the boards that had cracked on me. Looks better. (I hammered them to hard)

Then we worked on finishing the back wall.

Then we finished the back wall with an over hang with air vents.

You can't see the wire but it is there to keep any predator out.

O.K. then we moved to the front on the coop and put up more wire fencing to keep out predators.

Then out came the vinyl for the front.

Then the door was framed on the outside.

Thanks Carla, We rely alot on our little garden and we will rely alot on the chicks for eggs in the future. So we take good care of both of them.
