First time egg bound

I have a hen that is a year old. Never had any problems with her laying eggs. Did not lay an egg Saturday. Last night she was not eating and just standing in a daze. This morning she had layed 1 egg normal size but white and brown color. They are usually brown. Also there was a shell of a soft egg. Once they have problems like this does it usually continue? Anything I should feed different (layer pellets and some scratch, greenbeans etc.) Should I look for any future problems?
