I wasn’t expecting so many to be honest, but I’m super happy with the outcome. And the babies are all doing well and are so dang cute!

I just placed my first eggs a little over a week ago. 15 eggs total, one was infertile so down to 14. I have a mix of Speckled Sussex, Mosaics, Lavender Orpington, Brahma, EE and Buff Orpington. I’m super excited!

Thank you! I had 4 mosaic eggs to start. One was infertile and another quit at day 13. I’m so happy I got the 2.

Oh my goodness! They're so cute! Oh I love the colors, they're gonna be beautiful hens!

I just candled 2 of my eggs and both have veining and I could actually see the little spot where the chick was in the second!

I have been swamped with work and not able to check in but I'm loving the posts I've seen! Babies hatching, more getting closer! So exciting! I candled at day 10, just did about 6 out of my 22 and all were looking good. Now I have 8 days to go and I can't wait! Time to start setting up the brooder soon!

2 weeks to go here! Out of the 33 I set 1 is a possible clear. 1 is too dark to tell (purple egg). And 3 had possible blood rings. I put everybody back in I plan of removing any clears and blood rings on Monday when I do my next candling.
