That was mentioned to us recently actually that sometimes ducks don't make the best mothers, so we are prepared to bring them in and look after them like we did with her, there's a section cornered off already readyI’ve moved many a Muscovy when hatching has started and after but this year my duck hatched 2 ducklings inside the coop but up on the poop board under the roost not a safe place for ducklings. So I set her up in the coop with her own area fenced off from everyone she had a fit would t stay with them so I ended up bringing them inside and brooded them myself. Never had this from my duck before maybe age she is 8 now. But she really surprised me. I am telling you this so you can have planB ready just in case.
