Does she have any shelter overhead?
I always have to wait until they get off the nest. I don’t have any ducks that will let me reach under them!(chicken hens, yes. Ducks, no)
Mine tend to take a break about an hour before sun down. Sometimes they want to bathe and take their time (30 minutes or more), other times they get a quick bite and head back to the nest. I try to candle about once a week, and also make sure no eggs are cracked or any other issue with them.
They went under her Monday morning so 5 or 6, I don't know whether it's mean to start from day 0 or day 1???I see life!! What day? looks like maybe 4-5
