First time hatching chicks

So I have hatched ducklings be for and they never looked like these chicken eggs ( we are talking about to different birds) they are under a chicken! But to me they don't look right.

Mine looked like that about 5 days in then all of the sudden (day 8 or 9 I believe) things developed...and quick! Had one hatch this am!

We found the eggs and put them under a hen and there are veins! One does not look like it has veins.
