sad the pore little thing it's so sad when they try so hard but don't succeed

Most definitely is a sad moment. Especially when the little mite was chirping away while it initially cracked open and then it's body just seemed to give up. But they do say only the strong survive.
Fingers crossed for the last 6. They need to hurry up n hatch cos I need to get incubator rotating again as manually turning the new frizzles and new silky eggs is too much. But they needed to go in otherwise would have been no good .
Cant believe how fluffy orpington chicks are as soon as they dry off!

I'll do more photos soon of a couple of individual chicks

Hi everyone,

I really need your advice please!

As you know I'm waiting for 6 eggs to hatch and they are now day 23/25 (rir are 25days) I've just float tested them and the eggs all turned points down so air pocket was up, the two rir didn't move from that point. But the other eggs wasn't visually rocking but did move from one side of the bowl to the other on top of the water.

Are they still alive ?

How much longer do I wait before opening them ?

HELP !

They can survive if they are alive when you open it and no opening them would not kill them day 26 is late so if they are alive the would have absorbed the yolk they must be stuck
