First time

I have 9 more eggs waiting to set( 7 black copper marans and 2 turken welsummer crosses). Hopefully I wake up in the morning to some chicks. At what point should I think about helping?

I woke up to a chick this morning. The other two a still moving but show no signs of pipping. Is it normal for the chick to just lay around after hatching? I guess so assuming its hard work to hatch.

Two more hatched today. The second ameraucana made it but the Cochin did not. The Cochin zipped but never made it out of the shell.

Seems like I was misinformed about these eggs. After talking with the person I got the eggs from they are actually Easter eggers. She used Easter egger/ameraucana universally while talking about them. Some of her chickens lay blue eggs, some pink , and some green.
