I had remade my first betta’s tank after he passed. Fully overhauled and rescaped it. I had ordered some java moss and subwassertang and they just arrived. The java moss is looking a bit rough but it is pretty cold here when it came in, so I don’t blame the seller. It is a nice huge chunk of it though. Now I just need to find where the heck to put it, I am thinking on the top of the rocks with some behind it and have some hanging down from the twigs. For now though it is going to look ugly in its little corner and I am not going to pay attention to it making my tank look funky.
I am thinking of making this tank a nano shrimp tank, I have been looking at getting back into nano shrimp keeping for a while.

Update to this tank! It took a while for everything to fill in. I got some dwarf sag and some aquatic mosses. I got some free nano shrimp from a friend’s colony and they have settled in beautifully I ended up getting two scarlet badis (I hoped for a pair but I got two males) as well. They do chase each other around but I cant return the other to my LFS. They have such fun little personalities and remind me a lot of itty bitty cichlids.

I have spent $900 in the last week granted only about $300 was on me the rest I used on my brothers.
