They are beautiful, are they the pearl colour? Do you know if they are boys or girls? I can't remember if the term is tom and hen or of that just applies to turkeys.

I had a patient that lived on a street in the city where there was a guinea that looks like yours. To this day I don't know if it was a boy or a girl, it was always walking up and down the sidewalk honking. I think that means it was a boy? The poultry world is interesting..chicken boys are loud but girls quiet, duck boys are quiet but girls loud, who knows about guineas! If I ever have a bug problem I will get guineas (when I move to the country however many years from now).

Yes they’re pearl colored. I have at least 5 girls, and you tell by the way they sound.

That’s cool! If it’s honking, it was probably a male. Not sure what the actual terminology for males and females are yet... maybe I’ll do a quick google search!

They are loud, but you'll get used to them. Are yours jumbo guineas because they look large? Of course it could just be the picture.

I think they’re just regular pearl guineas. They look way bigger in pictures I think.

Hello I am doing good after I had a little bit of a scare this morning from one of my Olandsk Dwarf chicks. I noticed she had blood all over her neck and near her eye from having her feathers pulled, but I found the culprits. I ended up putting the dwarf chicks with all of my Cemanis, Silkies, and Mosaics since they are all the same size at the moment. My Marans were just not being the nicest to anyone and I think it’s because they are going through pecking order at the moment and she got in the way because my dwarfs are so calm They have been together since I got them but I guess I will re introduce them all when the dwarfs get bigger
