This is me with any appliance in the house! We once had to drive back home after traveling for about 15 minutes because I couldn't remember turning the hair straightener off!

*sigh* I have water envy. The wind's picking up & our skies are clearing. All that lovely rain will dry up quickly if this keeps up.

Today was the day... 165 days... Almost 24 weeks... And 5.425 months to be precise, for the laying of first egg!
From eggs.

To newly hatched chicks

To the ugly but cute teenage stage.

To finally pretty 5 1/2 month old pullets one of whom just gave me her first egg! I believe it was this lady that layed.

It's just slightly larger than my bantam eggs, but its the darkest egg I've ever gotten!

I think our house is probably the same now. Looks like its clearing at work and our house is dryer then where I work so id yes probably.

Well my little one didn't have to convince me to get these guys....

Meet Ketchup, Relish, Sweet, and Sour.
Sweet and sour top two, ketchup and relish bottom two... my older boys named them
quarantine done and got integrated in with the others! I just got a new cage today for when they out grow the tub. They are definitely growing on me!
