Yes... and actually it produced a tornado in the town east of us so I'm glad we went to safe place. Chickens got a little wet as a window got blown open and we have some hail damage from the night of storms but thank the Lord everyone is savfe and sound!

We are under a fire alert until Friday. Hopefully the power will stay on

We have had very bad fires the past several years. Last Fall a fire in Paradise, a city a bit over an hour north of me, was leveled and 85 people were killed

Yes. That hit our news. They were bad fires. We often lose whole townships. There is a lot of oil in eucalyptus & fires can race through the tree tops. Very hot. Very fast. The island across from us burns every year from top to bottom & then across the middle. They put containment lines around the couple of townships & let it rip but we have to watch for spot fires from the falling ember & ash.
