NOW-for a update - i just got off the phone with the Attorney Generals office and the MRS... attorney general office was very kind but couldnt offer any help whatsoever. the MRS. was upset w/the whole mess but was NOT a jerk at all. she said she did try to talk to MR HORSE and he was throwing a fit about how i had my friend call him about the birds. the police did go to the MRS house and look around and supposedly no birds were found but i am leary on this because I personally was not even told they went overthere-however she did give me 2 policemans name so i dont think shes lying.-i mean why didnt the police call me n tell me that??? anyhow she does admit to having 2 of my ducks and 4 incubators and says i can go get them. she promised she would try to speak with MR horsefacility again. so... that what i have for info.
i urge people NOT to call mr horse it will only make him angrier however perhaps calling the state police would be good so they know its not going away.. just wanted you all to know..

4PEEPS!!! If you do not want anyone to call him, just go back and edit any posts that have his number and name and address.

That is great news! I was more worried about your incubators than your birds, at least with your bators you can hatch a new flock and besides bators are very expensive.

I'm glad you got at least some of your birds back. Keep pushing, and make it not worth their while!

anyhow-on the incubators-the eggs are no longer alive -its 21 days and 28 for ducks . according to the MRS nothing has hatched so theyre all dead. its well past hatching days on all 4 incubators.

Not calling you a liar, but I have to ask, how did you contact a nonexistent department? Again, Lebanon Maine has no police department. They have an all volunteer fire department. See this link for a complete listing of all town departments.

There is a Lebanon, NH police department - they would have no clue what you're talking about.

My husband is from Lebanon. We have a home there. We are familiar with the situation (I know where this guy lives).

Houlton Police would have nothing to do with it, they're on the other side of the state!. The only police department with any jurisdiction over this is the Maine State Police, and they seem disinclined to deal with the situation. I've got feelers out to find out who this guy knows, he obviously knows someone......

Well at least you can get 2 ducks and bators. Now to get the ones from Horseyman. Have you contacted the Dept. of Agriculture in Maine yet? If not, I would do so pronto and get a paper trail going there.

Good luck, wish I could help but I am all the way in Oregon.

I'm glad you are getting some what's missing back! I hope you can manage to get a ride there or someone who can pick things up for you.

Praying for the rest of the flock to be given back to you.

I apologize for doubting you. There have been people like that in the past who have done what I said, and I just hate to see it happen to these members. Sorry, I thought wrong. Seminolewind
