Hello. I am getting mixed reviews. My ducklings are about 3/4 weeks of age. They are kept in a medium sized dog cage until it warms up in Michigan or they get all thier feathers. But my question is ive been getting so many mix reviews. Do they have to have water and food over night. They make such mess and in the morning their chest are wet because they have managed to make thier whole pen wet. Not sure what to do. I feel bad either way. Help!

No they don't. Ive raised several and I dont let thwm have food or water at night. Make sure you take the food out also pr they will choke. I feed and water mine several times (we want ours as pets). It will not hurt them but make sure they can eat and drink all they want! We hand feed ours and even now our last ones are grown they still coming running wanting food (even though they are free range). Ive raised about 50 and never had one die from starvation
