I thought some people might be interested in hearing about a book I am collaborating on with the author(the second book I have contributed to), the first book ever about psychiatric service dogs. It is supposed to come out in January and is up for presale already on Amazon if anyone is interested in such a subject. It's called "Healing Companions: Ordinary Dogs and Their Extraordinary Power to Transform Lives"
I thought this might be an appropriate time to mention this since the front page story of the Wall Street Journal about psychiatric service dogs. This book contains the story of another veteran who is a recipient of a service dog from Puppies Behind Bars as well as one from NEADS and several other owner or privately trained dogs.
