Found a baby pigeon, what should i do?

Found a baby pigeon stuck in a crack on our stone porch, I don't know how to explain it, but I guess that's good enough.
I took the baby pigeon out of the crack and watched from afar if the mother would come and feed.
An hour later, no sign of mother. What should I do?? Should I take him in and care for him??
He has all his feathers, just not able to fly yet.

P.s I don't know the gender I just call all baby animals he

He didn't fall from a nest, his mother may have nested on the roof of our horse stable, which we cannot get up to

Now that I think about it, how the hell would he be alive falling from that high??? But there's no trees around or any other place the mother could've nested in

He just took his first flight a day or two too early and was not strong enough yet.
