Found Goose Hurt Today -- Vet Needed?

Hey all, found my goose today outside hurt. She was walking around and making noise, we brought her in and sat her in the bathtub and rinsed her as well as we could with warm water and are now applying vetericyn wound care to her 3-4 times a day. As far as we can tell there are no deep wounds, it seems like something ripped her feathers out forcefully. I can't find any cuts or holes or anything like that.

It's been a day, and she hasn't really moved or eaten or drank as far as we can tell. She seems to be in shock.

Is everything going to be okay? Should we do anything different?

Poor girl! Looks like maybe a fox/dog/ coyote tried grabbing her.

You’re doing everything you can be doing at home. The only thing I can really suggest is to have her on a broad spectrum antibiotic like Baytril so infection doesn’t set in. Keeping her wound clean as you’ve been doing is great though.

Im not surprised she doesn’t want to eat, that’s a typical response to pain and trauma, only time will help.
