I dont know squat about pigeons. I didn't even know they had red feet. Ours has 2 green bands on its feet. One has the info and the other is blank. Not sure if that means anything. Still no word on my end from the owner but I was able to leave him a message. I really hope he calls back.

He just called back. Even worse news. The owner of the bird is deceased. He said he'd come and pick her up though or we could have her. I told him I honestly have no clue how to care for her or the means so if he could come get her he can have her. He didn't seem too pleased to know her wing was broken. Im hoping he can give her a loving home.

I hope so too! Good job helping her. :)

I’m a little nervous about him being unhappy about the wing. I might ask him what his plans are for her/if he’s gonna be able to nurse her back to health. If the answer is less than satisfactory I’d keep her for now and give her to someone more willing to care for her injury.

The conversation went:
"What is the shape of the bird?"
"Um...bird shaped?"
"No what condition is she or he?"
"Oh shes healthy but her wing is broken"
"Oh her wing is broken. Hmm. Well I sometimes come out that way."
Not sure what to make of it.
