Found pigeon AU SBL 361 2018

I wish I was near, I'd have it in a heartbeat! I'm trying to breed some ash into my birds and s/he really is a good looker! I don't know if @cavemanrich may know of somewhere that way out. I think he's near illinios. Is that near Chicago?
We're about a 45 minute drive from Chi-town. We're closer to Chicago then South Bend. East of Gary

Hey, @Ninjasquirrel I am currently visiting in Whiting like 16 miles northwest of Gary, and I could take in the pigeon if you could meet there today or tomorrow. I have one and have all the resources to care for it. Is her wing badly injured in a way that emergency care is needed or do you think it will set on its own?

Difficult to find a rehabber that will take disabled pigeons and not put them down (they're not wildlife and there's generally not enough resources for rehabbers to care for them), but she could lead a reasonably happy life as a pet bird even with a disability.

It's very likely it will be killed if the owner takes it back.

Not sure how badly it is injured. The bone is not poking through the skin but I can definately feel a break. I'll mention this to my SO when he gets home and see what he wants to do.
