French frogs

Well, a few rough patches, but got the NG tube out this afternoon and allowed clear liquids finally. Even coffee! All he has had is ice chips and small sips of water. (besides the IV stuff). Heart rate has been a bit high at times and some arrhythmia, but they are watching it. Kidneys took a beating, but still hoping no long-term damage.

We also went for a short walk around the hall this evening. He's very weak, but improving quickly!

Thank you for asking!

Sicker than we realized. Valuable lesson learned.

It's a problem with a lot of people. "Yes I'm having chest pains, think I'll go lay down" Umm, no, Chest pains = ER. Or people start to choke in a restaurant, and go hide in the bathroom (and pass out.)

DH will probably be the same way. Stubborn is his middle name.

Hopefully kidneys are okay I've been living with damaged kidneys for 20 years since my transplant. Lucky the only thing I really have to watch is what medication I can take. Wish the best for you both.....

I resemble that remark...:/

I'll tell ya why...riding my Magna on a fresh diamond cut concrete road was like driving on ball bearings. Riding my Honda CRF on Michigan potholes, steel bridge grates, grooved roads or those same diamond cut roads, hard to tell the difference between that and good concrete. And the CRF is also good on fire roads and riding in the woods, where the Magna feared to tread. Of course there are better dirt bikes and better street bikes, but having one bike that can go everywhere I want to is wonderful.

So i think we will be Roosterless by morning. SOB attacked thing 2, this time for real, not just bluff. No reason for it she was playing nicely far away from him. DH was home and saw him, jump on her and scratch her. I told him to go ahead and kill it, he decided to try cutting his spurs. But he also beat him a bit

I am not really upset, if it dies i will happily dispose of it, I do not know what i am going to do with the thing of it lives (Other then process it when i do the others)
**** thing
(Thing 2 is fine. Husband chased him off quickly. She has some scratches that i cleaned with disinfectant, but no permanent damage fortunately)
Totally, completely unacceptable behavior. He'd be on ice right now if he were here. I've dispatched for a lot less than that. Glad she's okay and hope she learns he was just a bad boy.

Just takes the right understanding. I'm glad someone else gets it :highfive:

Here's hoping for a full and fast recovery now that he's on the mend.  Kidneys can tolerate quite a bit of abuse, so crossing my fingers that he will suffer no lasting effects.

Thanks again. We're very hopeful too!
