Trust me, the security guys like me better than that nurse does!  And I'm sure they like me better than they like her too

My daughters a nurse and I know she wouldn't tolerate another nurse being rude. The hospital is making BIG dollars off you guys so I would not tolerate unprofessional conduct. Call hospital admin and tell them you would like to speak with them. That usually gets their attention. Or, you can open up a can of good ole WV whoop ......

Friday is right. Just go to the nurses station during the day, on a weekday, and ask to talk to the charge nurse. If nothing else they will make certian the nurse in question is no longer in charge of your DH.

I have to be careful if I'm there when it gets ugly. I tend to sympathize with the nurse, because I know she's dealing with bunch of different people every day. Our family members are the most important to us, but they have a whole floor full of people that feel exactly the same way. I'm not saying that some nurses aren't wrong, and some are downright rude, but it's got to be stressful dealing with the families of sick people every day

Actually, they have a "complaint lady" that comes around daily and asks about issues, compliments, complaints. He told her that the day-nurse was rude, so we will leave it at that unless something else happens. I can keep my cool. I know they have rough jobs, and I sympathize and take all of that into account, but the patient comes first! Period.
All the others have been fabulous. Maybe this one just had a bad day. I give benefit of the doubt until the doubt no longer exists. Then I'm done.

I sympathise with your point, more then you would believe, but i also know that the sqeaky wheel gets the grease. I am not saying get her fired, because really shouldnt and i doubt would. At most she will be questioned and they will give her word greater weight then yours. Then they will not assign her to your husband and if there are no other reports of rudeness nothing will happen. If others complain too, that will develop a pattern and additional measures would be taken. But if you do not report a problem nothing happens.

So.....the Asian must speak about this blasphemy against Ramen Noodles. So correct pronounciation is Raum-yun! And yes it is not technically good for you but it's mighty delicious if you jazz it up with some sesame oil, sesame seeds, a scrambled egg, and peas!!!! . Oh I died laughing when I read it.. and I think I am the only one who got it!!! That's how I make homemade mac and cheese!! so good. Never done tuna...but I do peas and hotdogs.

I like the cheap noodles too...I only discovered the cheap treat this year...but lunch in two minutes for a quarter...hmmmm. Works for me....I make real good max and cheese with...Vermont white cheddar.....mmm. Mmm. Mmmm

Yea those used cars will overheat and blow a gasket, leak fluid everywhere, and leave you stranded! Hubby seems much better this morning. Much perkier... can you say percocet? e Will see what the docs say in a little while.

Something else did that to him yesterday, but this seems to have a better effect. This is a man that has never, ever taken any types of drugs, so a little goes a long way! Other than a snip-snip, or accidental injuries, he's never been to the hospital for anything! So this is all major new to him.

Let him enjoy it...hope he comes home soon...

I am not known for morning smiles. The children have learned to give me a bit of space until first coffee is drank. I am a bit growly until i have had my caffeine.

I know the feeling....need my coffee...

I hope he gets to come home. I'm sure he's not resting well at the hospital. The dear nurses wake you up every hour or so.

When I had my bone marrow transplant...they woke me ever two hours to take blood, vitals, and weight...so I had to get up on a scale every two hours....sucked.

He was pretty sick if they pull the IVs tomorrow it would be a good sign . I think it would depend on how bad the infection was , I'm thinking pretty bad though . wonder what his white count is now. Dang I keep forgetting I'm a ditch digger

She built a nice rapport with the security guy as she was escorted to the lobby the last time her mom was in the hospital

About the EE eggs, they are putting the incubator, a Hova bator Genesis in my office. I'll never get anything done. Anybody have experience with the Hova Bator... Gosh that sounds too much like something else.....where's the rope?

On politics: I think people are sick of fakes and that's why Trump is getting a lot of primary votes. I think the Republican politician's, and Democrats for that matter are scared to death of him. My Christian values are very important to me but I think Carson and Kasich are probably the only two candidates that are really sincere about their faith. There's more division now in our country that there was when I was in my 20's. (That's was a long time ago.) I want someone who can bring unity. I think everybody is sick of politicians, that's why Trump is popular.

Oh, and about the price hike on the eggs.......I've got trooper friends on I-26.
