I have a beautiful LF black cochin hen that I have noticed has a white froth in one of her eyes. She appears very healthy, laying, eating, bright red comb and wattles and nothing is swollen around the eye and no nasal discharge. Any idea? Doesn't seem to disturb her. Should I be concerned? Thanking you in advance for your comments.

Foam in the eye can be an early sign of MG, but it can also result from an eye injury. Do you see any peck wounds around the eye? Watch for slight swelling around that eye. If you see that or nasal drainage I would get some Tylan 50, and give her shots for 3 days. MG is a contagious carrier respiratory disease.
