Fugly Farm

Ok, now I understand what you meant. After I typed my question, I had to run next door again to check on and feed the animal's. One more week still of me animal sitting.
Oy that is a LOT of work lady, and in this heat too!

Yes, I lost count on how many bottles of cold water that I had to drink to keep myself hydrated. It's easier doing this when they take the vacation for Thanksgiving and Christmas. It's not too hot then, and the animal's aren't going through the water as fast. I've been bringing the chicken's and the dog's treat's, but not the goats. There's no shade for me by the goats, and they both have that strong musky smell.

Your neighbors are lucky to have you BB.

Maybe it's just me, but if a person likes vacations, why have so many animals?

They know that they can trust me with their animal's? The husband is still here in AZ. right now. His job takes him out of town, though. He's down on the border helping to build the fence. She, on the other hand wanted to go visit her grandson in another state. They are the one's that keep buying me those bags of chicken feed for my flock.

Busy day again. Took the pups to the park after letting the flock out and feeding the chicks and buns. Planted a couple of elephant ear corms that came in the mail, watered a few things, then went to TSC and walmart for a few things. I got some crickets for the birds and a second litter box for the buns. The main box in front of the hay silo needs to be cleaned mire often so having one ready to swap is handy.

It has been 3 days since I last checked Angus. I used PRID to draw out any pus left in his owees and he's doing really well as far as walking/running goes. I think I'll do another dose of that for a few days, then wash and see how it looks. Blue has been roosting on the nest boxes and Angus got upset when I moved her to the roost last night. Too bad dude, she was here first. It's rare that he gets to mate with her, she just flat refuses. I'm hoping some crickets will win him some points.

The chicks are very needy and I was tempted to buy one from TSC but didn't. One got hold of the other by a toe and tried to run with it, the victim was chirping bloody murder and the perpetrator pulled harder the more the victim screamed. :gig

Chores are waiting.
